Right. Important flag before the rewrite on this one.

This post is currently set to noindex in WordPress. That means Google is completely ignoring it. It won’t show up in search results at all. You can see it in the meta: meta-robots: noindex, nofollow. That was also flagged in your WordPress post list where it said “Post is set to noindex.”

Worth fixing that in Yoast or Rank Math when you paste the rewrite in. Just flip it from noindex to index and it’ll start being picked up by Google.

Now, the post itself is quite short and feels slightly underdone compared to your others. It’s warm and the intent is right but it doesn’t really explain what the insurances cover or whythat matters to a client in practical terms. Someone reading it thinking “should I hire an insured VA?” needs a bit more to go on.

Here’s the rewrite, expanded just enough to earn its place:

Why I’m an Insured Virtual Assistant (And Why That Matters to You)

When I started this business, I knew I didn’t want to be just another extra pair of hands.

Helpful, yes. Handy, sure. But also… dependable. Professional. A proper safety net for business owners, not just a nice idea of one.

So one of the first proper grown-up things I did?

Got myself insured.

Not because anyone told me to. Not because it looks good on a website. But because it felt like the right way to run things.

What I’m actually insured for

Professional Indemnity Insurance

This covers me if a client suffers a financial loss as a result of my work, advice, or a mistake I’ve made. So if I draft something incorrectly, miss something important, or give guidance that doesn’t land the way it should, there’s cover in place.

It’s not a reflection of expecting things to go wrong. It’s a reflection of taking responsibility seriously if they do.

Cyber Insurance

As a VA, I regularly work with client data, systems, logins, and sensitive documents. Cyber insurance covers incidents like data breaches, accidental loss of client data, or cyber related issues that affect a client’s business as a result of my work.

In a world where everything’s online and everything’s connected, this isn’t optional as far as I’m concerned.

Do clients ask if I’m insured?

Hardly ever.

But when they find out I am? There’s always a little crumb of comfort.

Because suddenly, handing over that login or that sensitive document doesn’t feel quite so risky. There’s a layer of built-in reassurance.

I’ve thought ahead. I’ve got your back.

Why it matters when you’re choosing a VA

Not all VAs are insured. Some are brilliant and uninsured. Some are less brilliant and also uninsured.

But if you’re handing over access to your systems, your client data, your financial documents, or anything sensitive, it’s worth asking the question.

Insurance won’t make a VA better at their job. But it does tell you something about how seriously they take it.

For me it’s not just a tick-box thing

It’s how I do business.

Responsibly. Thoughtfully. With actual care.

If I’m supporting your business, I want to be someone you can count on. Not just when things are going well, but when something unexpected crops up.

So if you’re looking for a VA who’s not just skilled but steady, someone who’s quietly organised, fully insured, and can still make space for a giggle through the chaos…

Have a look at how I work and see if we’d be a good fit.

And if you’re not quite sure what kind of support you need yet, Waffle & Write is a good place to start. A focused session where you talk, I listen, and we turn whatever’s swirling into a proper written summary you can actually do something with and walk away with a clear brain.
